The World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN)

The World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN) is a volunteer organisation dedicated to supporting nurses working in Critical Care, Cardiac Care, Respiratory Care, and Disaster Management. The Federation provides access to valuable resources, directories, events, and international conferences, and has representatives in 37 countries worldwide.

In 2025, the Irish Association of Critical Care Nurses (IACCN) proudly became a member of the WFCCN. This affiliation means that all IACCN members are now also members of the WFCCN, gaining access to its extensive global network, educational materials, and professional development opportunities.
